Rope with splices and thimbles for winch – 12 mm

Consisting of a splice with thimble, this 12 mm diameter winch rope is ideal for use with your Portable Winch® product.

Galvanized steel thimble splices are available on this rope. They provide protection against wear caused by carabiners, shackles, and hooks attached to the end of the rope. Additionally, a splice maintains nearly 100% of the rope's capacity, unlike a knot that reduces its capacity by at least 30%.

 

Splices on both ends of the rope also allow you to periodically flip it to ensure uniform wear along its entire length.

 

Highly recommended for all lifting operations.
