Automatic Pulley Release from Portable Winch®

This device allows a log to complete its journey parallel to the path without interrupting the operation to remove the rope from the pulley.

The trigger consists of two parts: a steel cartridge and a chain link, which are free at the end of the rope when not in use.

To install it, simply position the mesh at the desired distance, rotate it halfway on the rope and insert it into the cartridge, thus ensuring its fixation without risk of damaging the rope. When the trigger reaches the pulley, its diameter causes the rope to extend so that the log can continue its course and pivot along the edge of the path.

It is compatible with ropes up to 12mm in diameter, but is not recommended for use with a portable winch anchored with a sling, as loose tension could cause the winch to suddenly drop and cause damage. It is recommended to use an anchor such as PCA-1268 or PCA-1269 for this situation.
